Marrakesh comes from the words amur and kush, which means Land of God. The exquisite beauty of the third-largest city in Morocco is seen both in the center of the city and on its outskirts where it is located at the foot of the Atlas Mountains and close to the Sahara Desert. The city is divided into two, the modern area known as Ville Nouvelle or Gueliz and the historical part of the city, Medina.
The difference is remarkable, with the historical side filled with local shops located in narrow alleyways, owned and run by locals. In the new part of the city
